Shine Wellness Clinic is proud to be able to provide (ESA) Emotional Support Animal Certifications to Michigan residents in need of required documentation.
Emotional Support Animals have become increasingly popular in recent years due to their recognized ability to provide comfort and support to individuals suffering from mental or emotional disabilities. Having an animal certified as an Emotional Support Animal allows individuals to receive protections not ordinarily provided by simply having a pet. These protections allow individuals to have Emotional Support Animals reside in their residences, travel on airlines, and accompany their owners to work or school. While there are certain protections with Emotional Support Animals, there are also limitations. It is important that each person understand the protections and limitations of having an Emotional Support Animal.

Evaluation & Initial Certification- $99
Your ESA Certification will Include:
- (1) Mailed Certified Copy of your ESA certification
- (1) Emailed certification letter
- Michigan Emotional Support Certification Law Guide
- Receipt
- Completion of any follow-up paperwork that may be required from housing, work or school establishments.
Evaluation & ESA Recertification- $49
Recertifications are only available to individuals who have received a previous Initial Certification through SWC.
Your ESA Recertification will Include:
- (1) Mailed Certified Copy of your ESA recertification
- (1) Emailed recertification letter
- Michigan Emotional Support Certification Law Guide
- Receipt
- Completion of any follow-up paperwork that may be required from housing, work or school establishments.
